Ten years after the oil spill that caused in the Komi Republic, the largest pollution on land that has news, small country in northern Russia has not got rid of all the effects of the disaster. At the time, experts said that if emergency measures were taken immediately, it would take 25 years to improve the situation in the affected area - a range of 2 100 hectares near the city of Usinsk, one of the coldest places on earth, the limits of region known as the Arctic Circle.
The 102 000 tonnes of oil leaked from pipelines malconservados oil companies entered the frozen earth and still threaten the health of its residents. Officially, the accident happened on October 17, 1994 and was caused by a levee break in oil. But, it was discovered after the leak began in July and lasted until September - the government tried to hide the tragedy from the rest of the world.

money on the internet without having to spend a fortune. I have
recently been introduced to the Plug in Profit Site. I bought the
package, hooked, line, and sinker. I still can not believe that I

3. I have dropped a few lines in blogs, and forums with a link to my website
4. I have a few Google Adword ads posted. ( I used low cost keywords)
5. The easiest thing to do is add a SIG file to all emails.(bonus, it’s free!)
Most marketers do not use a SIG file. Why? I do not know, not my
problem. But I use my SIG file in all of my emails. You know those
annoying forward emails, that your friends and family, send to you on a
daily bases. I used to hate those things, but now I love them.
Why? because I forward them to everyone in my address book, and yup,
you guessed it! I use My Signature file. You would be surprised on how
far those crazy emails can go. They are like the Energizer bunny they
keep going and going; with my SIG file. At the end of all of my

mastermind, Harlan Coben. There is no doubt that the person who looks for a suspense book, would be surprised of the mystery concealed in this book. In every moment there is an innovation and when you are certain you've come to the right conclusion, you are actually defeated. The book starts with the protagonist lying in the hospital, after the murder of his wife, while his baby-daughter disappears. After a while he gets a phone call, offering him "the deal of his life" - his baby back, in exchange for a large amount of money.The deal is accompanied with critical term, of not involving the police.
Our hero struggles with the question and makes an awful
mistake that will be clarified during the story. The characters in the story, are undoubtedly varied; There is the best friend of the hero, who would do anything for him; There is his mysterious childhood lover Rachel; There is
even his deceased wife's alienated and wealthy father.
What will happen after the mistake, and will the hero be given another chance after the one he did to return his daughter? Is she even alive!?

Amongst a spate of literary works set in the glittering city of Paris in the nineteenth and twentieth centuries, one of the most popular novels was the Lady of the Camellias, or Camille. The novel has also spawned several films,plays as well as an immortal opera by Verdi known as La Traviata.
Published in French in 1847, it became a super-success and also gave birth to one of modern cinema's "stock characters" - The Golden-Hearted Prostitute. Modern cinemagoers are familiar with two superhit films which took the box-office by storm in the last century - Pretty Woman starring Richard Gere and Juliia Roberts and Moulin Rouge starring Ewan McGregor and Nicole Kidman. In both the films, the female protagonists are portrayed in a sympathetic fashion,as women whose sins are redeemed by the power of love.However, the two films end differently. While Julia Roberts gets her Richard Gere, Nicole Kidman's Satine meets the same fate as the unhappy courtesan in the novel -- she dies of consumption. Still, one might add that Satine is luckier than the original Lady of the Camellias, Marguerite. She dies in her lover's arms, surrounded by mourning friends and a stage audience who thinks that her death is a part of her stage performance.On the other hand, Marguerite dies in agony, misunderstood by and estranged from her lover, who comes to know of her 'noble sacrifice" only after it is too late.The novel is a love story with the highly romantic theme of an affair between an aristocrat, Armand Duval, with the most beautiful , popular and charming courtesan in Paris, Marguerite Gautier.
The structure of the novel incporporates the principle of double-nareration.The unnamed first narrator of the novel comes across a sale in Paris, and learns that all the assets of Marguerite were being auctioned to repay her debts. In the aucion, the narrator buys a book which belonged to the courtesan, gifted to her by one "Armand Duval". His imagination is fired by this simple gift as only a true lover could give a simple book, as against those who would want to pamper her for their own pleasure. (Here, one remembers Madonna's first video, Material Girl, where she falls in love with the hero after he gives her a bouquet of flowers and takes her out in a taxi, whereas everybody else showers her with diamonds and takes her to their five-star hotel rooms in limousines). After a few days, the above-mentioned Armand , sick and sad, knocks at the narrator's door, begging him to return the book to him as a memento of the dead woman he loved. The two of them become friends and the first narrator nurses Armand back to health. At this point of the novel, Armand himself takes over the narration. He recounts his romance with Marguerite -- how he met her, how they fell in love, Marguerite's efforts to change herself into rspectability and her ultimate sacrifice which cost her ,her life. Armand's father, informed of his son's relationship with a demi-mondaine,a fallen woman, meets her and entreats her to leave Armand so that his family name would not be tainted and his sister, Blanche could get married, as her fiance's family has refused to accept her unless her brother cleans up his act. He tells her, " You love Armand; prove it to him by the sole means which remains to you yet of proving it to him by sacrificing your love to his future. " The objection here is not that Armand has a mistress - there is nothing more natural in nineteenth-century Paris - but that he loves a fallen woman and has pledged a lifetime of commitment to her.Well, Marguerite leaves Armand and comes to a very poor end. She flits from man to man, her consumption becomes worse and she after much suffering, her conditin worsened by her separation from Armand. Marie, much like Marguerite, had died neck-deep in debt, and at the auction of her things, all the Page Three equivalent of Paris (including Chales Dickens) had turned up to drool over her riches.In a nutshell, the novel explores , behind the facade of a heart-breaking love affair, the questions of sin and redemtion. Marguerite is redeemed from her sinful life thorugh love and dying for love. Yet, as feminists and columnists like Lyn Gardner has pointed out, Marguerite needs to be redeemed because she is a woman with all the doors of respectability closed upon her,whereas the men who buy her body do not need to save their souls.

The most romantic tale ever made in history, Romeo and Juliet, by William Shakespeare is known for its pages filled with unconditional love. The characters of the book, Romeo and Juliet, have always been, and still are, the perfect examples for true lovers all over the world. The fable beings in the streets of Verona, where another scuffle breaks out between the servants of Montague and Capulet, which are two disputing noble families. The few who try to stop the fights end up joining the fight themselves. Prince Escalus, the prince of Verona, out of desperation to end the violence between the two noble families and restore peace, decided to verdict a death sentence to anyone who disrupts the peace of Verona.
Romeo the son of Montague, after a lot of persuation, confesses to Benvolio, his cousin, about his love for Rosaline. He talks to Benvolio about how Rosaline does not return his love. Benvolio tries to convince Romeo that there are other prettier women to fall for, but Romeo remains stubborn.
Paris, a kinsman of the prince, asks for the hand of Juliet, the beautiful daughter of Capulet. Since Juliet is only fourteen, Capulet asks Paris to wait for about two more years. Capulet decides to hold the traditional masquerade party and feast, and includes Paris in the list of invitees, so that Juliet would get to know Paris well and eventually fall in love with him. Capulet hands over the list to a servant who clashes into Romeo and Benvolio. Benvolio suggests to Romeo that they go to the feast, so that he forgets Rosaline and sees the other beautiful girls of Verona. Romeo agrees to it, but only because he also catches Rosaline’s name in one of the invitations. After Lady Capulet, Juliet’s mother talks to her about Paris, Juliet agrees to meet Paris in the party, so that she could take a decision regarding their marriage.
On the day of the feast, Romeo, Benvolio and their friend Mercutio sneak into Capulet’s house. The moment Romeo sees Juliet, he forgets all about Rosaline and instantly falls in love with Juliet. Though a Capulet named Tybalt recognizes Romeo as a Montague, Capulet prevents Tybalt from creating a commotion because of this. When Romeo talks to Juliet, Juliet also falls in love with him and returns his kiss, not even knowing each others name. Later, when they find out that the other is the child of the rival family, they grow terribly upset. Before Romeo leaves, he exchanges words of love with Juliet.
Friar Lawrence, a lawyer and friend of Romeo, after Romeo confesses to him about his love for Juliet, agrees to get them married in secrecy. Romeo marries Juliet in the lawyer’s room.
In a dual, Tybalt kills Mercutio and in rage, Romeo kills Tybalt and hence, gets banished from Verona forever. When Juliet hears the news, she becomes distraught, but still supports her husband in the name of love. On the wedding night, a nurse, who is also told about the whole plot, arranges for a ladder to be placed in front of Juliet’s room for Romeo to visit Juliet. Accordingly, Romeo comes to Juliet’s room and spends the whole night with her, his wife.
The morning arrives and Romeo parts from Juliet, unsure whether he would even meet her again. Juliet soon hears that her father had planned to get her married to Paris within three days. In total distress, she goes to Friar Lawrence for advice. They conceive a plan, according to which Juliet was to drink a potion which would make her temporarily dead, but she could be revived back.
Unexpectedly, the marriage gets shifted one day ahead of schedule and Juliet quickly drinks the potion. The next day, Juliet is found dead. The Capulets grieve Juliet’s death. But the note explaining the plan to Romeo never reaches him. When he hears about Juliet’s death,he decides to kill himself near the tomb of Juliet and gets himself some poison. He runs to the grave, to find Paris filling Juliet’s grave with flowers. They begin quarrelling and Romeo ends up killing Paris. When he sees Juliet dead, he consumes the poison and falls dead. Juliet wakes up and seeing Romeos dead body, kisses him and kills herself with his dagger.
Grieved, Montague and Capulet arrive at the scene and decide to set aside their differences, after Montague tells out that Lady Montague died out of grief, hearing her son’s death. They raise golden statues of Romeo and Juliet, side by side and harmony finally comes into existence in Verona.

In the initial chapters Eleven Minutes seems to be confused, a book that cannot decide whether it wants to be fairy tale or saga of sexual discovery and ends satisfying neither of the demands. In his dedication, the best selling Brazilian novelist Coelho, whose works include the internationally best selling The Alchemist, The Fifth Mountain and By the River Piedra I Sat and Wept tells readers that his book will deal with issues that are “harsh, difficult, shocking,” but neither the inane descriptions of sadism and masochism nor his detailed and elaborate observations of female anatomy and the hardly new fact that most women are dissatisfied with their sex lives will shock readers.
Eleven Minutes tells the story of Maria, a young girl from a Brazilian village, whose first innocent brushes with love leave her heartbroken. Her girlhood experiments with romance convince her that love is a delusion, or at least it is not for her. At a tender age, she becomes convinced that she will never find true love and instead starts believing that “Love is a terrible thing that will make you suffer...” Attaining her majority, she becomes a shop salesgirl with limited career prospects. Her striking beauty attracts several young men to her including the owner of the shop she works in. Her introduction to sexual pleasure and how she tries to find the sacred sex in her various boyfriends is described in simple language and great and sometimes unnecessary detail. While on a vacation to Rio de Janeiro Maria comes into contact with a Swiss tourist looking to hire dancers for his club in Geneva.
She accepts his offer and travels to Geneva with the hope of realising her dreams of finding fame and fortune. Starting off as a lowly paid dancer in Geneva, Maria soon ends up working as a high-class prostitute. Her journey from being a restaurant dancer to a high-class call girl, her philosophical exploration of sexual love, her explicit quasi-philosophical diary entries makes the book overall an interesting reading.
Beginning to work as a prostitute, Maria drifts further and further away from love and slowly develops a fascination for sex. In the process of her exploration with sex she arrives at a conclusion that eleven minutes is all that is required for a sexual act. The title of the book – Eleven Minutes – refers to the hypothetical average duration for an act of coitus as described by Maria. “It’s really only forty-five minutes, and if you allow time for taking off clothes, making some phoney gesture of affection, having a bit of banal conversation and getting dressed again, the amount of time spent actually having sex is about eleven minutes,” writes the author echoing Maria’s thoughts about why men so powerful and arrogant at work, constantly having to deal with employees, customers, suppliers, prejudices, secrets, hypocrisy, fear and oppression, ended their day in a nightclub.
Eventually, her despairing view of love is put to the test when she meets internationally famous, rich and handsome young painter Ralf Hart. In this odyssey of self-discovery, Maria has to choose between pursuing a path of sexual pleasure for its own sake, or risking everything to discover her own “inner light” and the possibility of sacred sex, sex in the context of love. In this daring, but rather slow-paced – and at times downright boring – novel, Coelho sensitively explores the sacred nature of sex and love and invites us to confront our own prejudices and demons and embrace our own “inner light”. The narrative, constantly alternating between third-person narration about the heroine and first-person excerpts from her diaries embeds itself firmly in Maria''s perceptions, riences, emotions and dreams as she struggles to understand life. Coelho''s prose -- at least in the fluid English translation by Margaret Jull Costa -- is simple, straightforward and easily understandable, Eleven Minutes is an easy read, as easy to assimilate as water. It can easily be argued that Coelho''s first smash hit, The Alchemist (1993), set the template for Maria''s story. The shepherd in that earlier novel is bent on living out his ‘personal legend’ through a voyage of self-exploration, so is Maria in the book under review. Both decry the failure to dream and the impossibility of living the dreams of others. The two characters even buck themselves up in near-identical terms.
According to Coelho sex is civilization''s core problem, and that it''s far more serious and worrisome than waning rain forests or the hole in the ozone layer. With the way world’s population is exploding every day, Coelho maybe right after all.

Her journey from being a restaurant dancer to a high-class call girl, her philosophical exploration of sexual love, her explicit quasi-philosophical diary entries makes the book overall an interesting reading.
Beginning to work as a prostitute, Maria drifts further and further away from love and slowly develops a fascination for sex. In the process of her exploration with sex she arrives at a conclusion that eleven minutes is all that is required for a sexual act. The title of the book – Eleven Minutes – refers to the hypothetical average duration for an act of coitus as described by Maria. “It’s really only forty-five minutes, and if you allow time for taking off clothes, making some phoney gesture of affection, having a bit of banal conversation and getting dressed again, the amount of time spent actually having sex is about eleven minutes,” writes the author echoing Maria’s thoughts about why men so powerful and arrogant at work, constantly having to deal with employees, customers, suppliers, prejudices, secrets, hypocrisy, fear and oppression, ended their day in a nightclub.
Eventually, her despairing view of love is put to the test when she meets internationally famous, rich and handsome young painter Ralf Hart. In this odyssey of self-discovery, Maria has to choose between pursuing a path of sexual pleasure for its own sake, or risking everything to discover her own “inner light” and the possibility of sacred sex, sex in the context of love. In this daring, but rather slow-paced – and at times downright boring – novel, Coelho sensitively explores the sacred nature of sex and love and invites us to confront our own prejudices and demons and embrace our own “inner light”. The narrative, constantly alternating between third-person narration about the heroine and first-person excerpts from her diaries embeds itself firmly in Maria''s perceptions, riences, emotions and dreams as she struggles to understand life. Coelho''s prose -- at least in the fluid English translation by Margaret Jull Costa -- is simple, straightforward and easily understandable, Eleven Minutes is an easy read, as easy to assimilate as water. It can easily be argued that Coelho''s first smash hit, The Alchemist (1993), set the template for Maria''s story. The shepherd in that earlier novel is bent on living out his ‘personal legend’ through a voyage of self-exploration, so is Maria in the book under review. Both decry the failure to dream and the impossibility of living the dreams of others. The two characters even buck themselves up in near-identical terms.
According to Coelho sex is civilization''s core problem, and that it''s far more serious and worrisome than waning rain forests or the hole in the ozone layer. With the way world’s population is exploding every day, Coelho maybe right after all.

Something Blue is the continuation of Something Borrowed and this one greatly explored the struggles of a woman in search of herself and her true love. Learn how bad karma can be a good one in this book.
Let us begin with Rachel. She is a nice girl who slept with her best friend''s fiancé, Dexter, on the night of her 30th birthday. Rachel is not desperate though. Rachel first met Dex on their college years and Rachel doesn''t have a spark of love yet to Dex. Dex appears to be a good guy so Rachel introduced him to her pretty best friend, Darcy. Dex and Darcy fell in love and decided to get married. Rachel on the other hand is single and successful. When Rachel slept with Dex, she then realized that she is in love with him and everything is turning upside down. Marcus being a total slacker dumped Darcy and she being pregnant desperately went back to Dex but failed. Wanting to start a new life, Darcy went to London and stayed with Ethan, Darcy and Rachel''s childhood friend. In London, having no one to turn to aside from Ethan and being treated as a commoner, Darcy was able to taste the dose of her own medicine. Unintentionally, Ethan and Darcy fell in love unconditionally. Being with Ethan brought out the best in her and made her responsible and compassionate. They have become a family of devoted passion and Ethan accepted her two sons. Darcy then understands love and friendship. Being completely a different Darcy now, made her find the way back to Rachel''s friendship and acquaintance with Dexter.
Love and friendship are what make us who we are, and what can change us, if we let them.
These books made me laughed, confused, heartbroken and fall in love all over again. I hope you will too...

Listen ladies as I speak the truth. Our men have strayed and it is truly our fault. You see we as women have lost our way, we stand for nothing so we fall for anything. We let our men get away with murder and then we stil lay down with them at night. We have dropped our standards,lost our self esteem and thrown the rules right out the door. Now dont get me wrong I"m not a big believer in that knight and shinning armor but we have to have something to hold on to. Men today have it made they have several women they fool around with and then they have the clueless one who stays at home and cooks and cleans and takes cares of the kids. If you can believe this I have heard some of my very own friends say"shoot girl as long as he takes care of me I dont care what he does. We as women have slipped into a position of accepting the BS that most men throw our way and its crazy. The state of relationships today is scary and sick. I can count on one hand how many women I know who are in healthy, happy relationships and thats sad. If we as women dont stand up and stop accepting toxic men in our lives we are doomed to be unhappy for the rest of our lives. We have dropped our standards and our pretty little lace panties and as long as were getting some it dosnt matter who else hes messing around with. Men are not made of the same stock they used to be back in the day and women have become to loose and free with theiri bodies.
