After becoming caught in the rain, she finds herself taking a lift home with a boy she doesn’t even know. With his white hair and stunning out of place clothes, he looks like private school material. Instead, he is going to the school in the Vineyard and along with it he has put himself in a situation between a girl and the bond with a certain horse.
Though she doesn’t see the love in the boys eyes, nor does she realize she has become in love with him as well. She ignores his subtle hints and focuses on only one thing.
